It’s my pleasure to introduce myself to you. My name is Ms. Gutierrez or Ms.G and I am the Co-Sponsor for HOSA
I went to college for my Vocational Licensure at Houston Community College of Nursing. I have worked in the Medical Center as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in Urology clinic where I was the head LVN. I assisted with procedures such as bladder cancer treatments, vasectomies, and cystoscopies of the bladder, along with providing patients with routine office care, pre op and post op care.
Ms. toni hill-kennedy
Toni Hill-Kennedy is an educational leader, altruist, and devoted wife and mother who believes in Gandhi’s quote, “You must be the change you wish to see in the world.” She understands that positive change begins within herself. She has earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Clemson University, a Master’s Degree in Anthropology from the University of Houston, and a Master of Business Administration in Education Management from the University of Saint Thomas. She is a Doctoral student in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies at the University of Houston. Toni considers herself an educator, researcher, and storyteller, and she continuously contemplates ways to make a positive difference for others. She has served as an Assistant Principal, STEM Coordinator, Science Teacher, Content Specialist, New Teacher Mentor, Department Chairperson, Teacher of the Year, Master Teacher Curriculum Writer, and Instructional Specialist. Currently, she is a proud STEM Educator teaching AP Biology and Anatomy and Physiology on her campus. Toni leads and participates in local, national, and global humanitarian efforts to raise awareness and to secure resources for people in vulnerable situations. She maintains the determination, drive, and grit to master crucial skills to impact ongoing widespread positive change.
